I really enjoyed the book. Prior to reading the book, I had only heard the Serial podcast. My only complaint is that I read it on my Kindle. The author, Rabia Chaudry, inserted copies of notes, hearing transcripts, etc. I could not read them on the kindle because the print was too small. It would not enlarge.I pretty much figured out what the contents were, but it would have been nice to be able to read it (or have a transcript written below).

Wonderful read with even more insight than the podcasts. Rabia did a great job explaining all of the history in an easy to follow read.

As a advocate for Adnan, an avid listener to Serial, Undisclosed and Truth and Justice. I felt this book expanded on the gripping story of Adnan and his unfortunate WRONGFUL incarceration. It's very well written. Rabia is not only an AMAZING person and advocate, but also a woman with fire. Adnan is lucky to have this woman behind him. Someday soon Adnan will be free and the atrocities that is the Baltimore police will be uncovered.

Wow. Just wow. I remember first listening to the "Serial" podcast early 2015. I listened to each of the episodes on the series while I was at the gym, on my iphone. I didn't know anything about the case it was based on, that of Adnan Syed and his ex-girlfriend, for whom he is currently serving a life sentence plus 30 years for her murder. Of course, after listening to the podcast, I did a little research but due to my own studies, that was limited. I then picked up this book, and have to admit it's been one of the best true crime books that I've read in a while.If you've listened to Serial, you'll know that it was 12 episodes, so you would think that that is A LOT of information. It's not. It's only a very small portion of Adnan's case, and that is what Rabia herself has said. This book is soooooo rich in information. Information on Adnan, on his case, on the prosecutions case, on the defense case, on the detectives and police, Adnan's family, and of course, Adnan's ethnicity and religion which has played a very important role in his trial. I'm in awe of the amazing job that Rabia has done in the case, and the book, and how enthralling it is to read. I go to 60% through and couldn't tear myself away from it, having to finish it over an hour and a half, whilst holding onto a full bladder!The flow and style of writing was definitely an absolute pleasure. The release of information was plentiful but manageable, and the way theories and evidence was revealed was fascinating. I really learned a lot about the case, but also about Muslims, which admittedly, I really didn't know a lot about. So I loved all this information and education. Really, I can't speak more highly enough about this book. I believe that there could be no better person to be advocating for Adnan, and Rabia has certainly done a spectacular job throwing her time and effort into this. Adnan would be very proud and thankful for it.

This book is heartbreaking and inspiring. The death of Haymen Lee is so tragic, and then to top that with the years of injustices that Adnan Syed has faced is just unreal. Rabia Chaudry does a great job going through the story and explaining what transpired throughout this event. She also shows us how her loyalty and tenacity has brought light to the many problems of our justice system. A great read for all those interested in seeking the truth.

This is a great book that focuses on II lead EKG arrhythmias with some added information about 12 Lead and heart anatomy. The way it's set up is that it introduces a concept and then repeats it a few different ways to make sure that you understand it. It has fill in the blanks so that it is interactive and keeps you engaged when you're reading. It splits the arrhythmias up based on where they originate in the heart and goes from least complex to most complex. There is also a helpful online component and VERY helpful rip out flash cards that summarize the rules. A few complaints: It does not cover combination arrythmias, which is much more useful when using these skills in real life. For example, patients will likely have an underlying arrhythmia complicated by occasional PVCs. It does not cover anything about pacemakers and paced rhythms. Finally, it is really expensive for a fairly thin workbook that's bulk is practice strips. I have been told that the earlier editions provide exactly the same content, so I would recommend getting that instead. Make sure not to buy used, though because it will be written in, likely have missing flashcards, and you won't have the online access code. Happy arrhythmia learning!

When I first opened this book I hated it. It's written in what I'll call a "workbook" style format from the very beginning where every few sentences there are some blanks you have to mentally fill in and the answers are in the margin. While most of them are super simple it does force you to actually pay attention to what you're reading to.I had a very basic understanding of rhythms entering into it, and upon completion of this book I am confident in my abilities to recognize and identify the basic problems I'll encounter as a paramedic.

Book is easy to read and comes with so many examples in book and online to help you understand! I have a hard time with this but this book had so many great resources to help all kinds of learners! Even provides you with flash cards & e-learning tools.

Liked that this book breaks EVERYTHING down into "layman's terms" making it very easy to understand. Loved the fact that it arrived before it was scheduled; quick shipment on the seller/renter's part. Disliked that it was missing pages from the very back of the book that I would have liked to have used as study tools -which is exactly what they were meant to be used for. Overall great product and I was satisfied with the rental.

Had to buy this for nursing school. Glad I did. It was really helpful and it broke down the different rhythms nicely. It also uses real strips, which helps. Rather than working off of computer generated "perfect" strips, it's nice to work with real-life strips. If it's not a requirement for school, but you need to learn rhythms, I'd recommend it. Of course, like any other book, it's only as good as how much time you put into it.

Arrhythmia information presented in an easy-to-understand and consistent format. For a beginner, this is a great source to learn the basics. For the experienced clinician, it remains a reliable resource.Highly recommended.

Hated this book. Required book for paramedic school. The tests in the back of the chapters were at most a crap shoot. Not all of her interpretations are right.

A truly wonderful book! If you want to give your kids a taste of literary fiction, this is a good place to start. My sons adore Captain Underpants and tons of books in that genre. Mercy Watson brought us back to beautiful writing. Both my 6 and 4 year old begged to stay up late so we could finish the book. We did happily. All 63 pages in one sitting. A truly enjoyable book!

We got these books when my daughter was three and she is now six. We've read them over and over and she still loves them. She can read them herself now. Great characters. In fact tonight we had toast "with a great deal of butter on it" -just the way Mercy Watson likes it-with our soup.

This is the best serious I have come across for starting to introduce a young one to chapter books. The illustrations really are fun, bright, and engaging. The cost of these books is so great because they are nicer quality binding and illustrations than most short chapter books. We are reading these to our newly 3yo and she loves them. We have done a few early chapter books but these really shine through. Some other early chapter books are too short these are a nice length.

So funny! Loved the photos and the story line! Had my 6 year old cousin, Kate, read it to me. She has had difficulties reading so far, but challenged herself with this one. She did great! The plot and pictures kept her engaged and she would not put it down! She was so incredibly proud she got through this "cool chapter book" all by herself! Only tough words were names like Eugenia and Lorenzo, but now she can read them : )

My 6 year old is a very reluctant reader. This has thrown me for a loop, because I have always been an avid reader and made the mistake of assuming all my children would be too. I've been searching for a book that could spark a love of reading in her. I don't want to get ahead of myself, but she was hooked after looking through the pictures and promptly picked up the book and started reading out loud to me. We're both thrilled. Love the illustrations and the fun and silly Mercy Watson.

We loved this book! Mercy is a funny character. She loves toast with a great deal of butter on it. This is funny because she is a pig and toast is the only thing she thinks about. In another part, Eugenia, their neighbor, was chasing Mercy away from their house, but Mercy thought they were playing tag. Mercy was being playful and Eugenia was mad. Hilarious! If you are in elementary school and like funny books, then you should read Mercy Watson to the Rescue!

We loved the short chapters. Illustrations are super cute. Story was very fun and my two children loved it(a 6 year old girl & 7 year old boy). We will definitely get more of this author's books.

My 6 yr old loves the Mercy series. Every night he requests for me to read a few chapters to him after he reads his Henry and Mudge. He laughs and says "oh, no mercy won't be getting toast with a great deal of butter"
