It's an Ok book it is highly dense at points and some chapters are clearly written with more knowledge and just better written then other chapters. This is a good overall book it just shouldn't be used as your only study/learning material as long as you have something else backing up and reinforcing your ideas about wireless it is a great book. The only issue i had well using the kindle edition of the book was if you where doing the study do I know this questions the answers weren't a quick go to in the back. However each of the chapter are decent length covering a wide range of material and is an overall OK book.

The book itself had no issues, I just barely needed it for the class. You can probably find most of what you need to know for class online so save yourself the money (unless you have assignments on specific page numbers, then you have to buy it). Renting digital is the cheapest option.

This book really helped me out in my class and was fairly easy to follow.

I often wondered about the sources for parts of the BCP. This book was the answer book for me. I recommend it for a deeper appreciation. We are not all sufficiently versed in the Bible to know or understand why a verse was significant 500 years ago (and still today). I got this book at the same time as I got The Book of Common Prayer, a Biography by Alan Jacobs. They serve different purposes, but together they have enriched my understanding of, and appreciation of, the BCP.

We are using this book in adult bible study. It is a great companion to the Book of Common Prayer.

Excellent book. Bought nine more to share. Would highly recommend it. Using it for Lenten study guide. Everyone loves it.

As a relatively new Episcopalian, I have a great fondness for the prayer book. This edition is beautiful but not bulky. The ribbon markers are handy and the binding is very high quality. It would make a great gift.

Interesting historical background and helpful information - but centered around BAD theology. Robertson bizarrely asserts that the BCP is designed to provide a common framework for prayer while allowing massive disagreement on dogma. It's one thing to argue over the issue of "Election" but quite another to go off the rails like some in the Episcopal Church have done (i.e. with Wiccan ceremonies). I seriously doubt the original author of the BCP would have been OK with Bishop Spong denying the divinity of Christ. This book includes a preface by Presiding Bishop Katharine who similarly claims that the original BCP was "a way to seek healing among a divided people." What? No way. They needed a prayer book because the Church of England left Rome - not because King Henry VIII was trying some modern feel good "diversity" approach. (And this is rich considering the Presiding Bishop's atrocious behavior in punishing parishes who have chosen to leave The Episcopal Church over its fluffy approach to Christ - she has actually sold church property to Muslims instead of the leaving Episcopalians, even when offered good money for the properties.) I hate to ding the author for his professed association with the Presiding Bishop but his mushy theology is clearly on par with the new direction of The Episcopal Church. Well, count this as yet another reason why I'm glad I've also left The Episcopal Church for a more grounded and sensible traditional Anglican congregation.

I have a flash, use it mostly on-camera in automatic mode. Very often, images taken in that way look worse than I expected: flat, boring, with ugly reflections or ill-exposed.This book "One Light Flash" provides lots of information and ideas how to improve flash photography without buying expensive lighting equipment.The main part of the book discusses various lighting situations (indoor, outdoor, in full sunlight or overcast, at night, etc.) and photographic genres (wedding, fashion, urban, action, etc.) Each of these is illustrated with great example photographs. The setup for these photographs is always explained in text, sometimes with a diagram.The book concludes with a series of case studies, more advanced situations which are explained in detail. How to bring detail to a flat sky, how to get a black background in a normally illuminated room, how to fake a shaft of sunlight to mention just a few. I found these studies often surprising and very instructive.This book is not meant for beginners. Most of the photograph setups require off-camera flash as this usually gives the best results. Furthermore, various modifiers are used, like softboxes, umbrellas etc. If you expect to use your flash only on the birthday party of your little nephew, this book will be of little value.All in all, I learned a lot from this book and am eager to work more with my flash, but in a more creative way than I used to do.

I agree with what Tiffany wrote before me. I'm also an adult with CF, just hit 30. I had considered writing my own little CF memoir, but these girls did such an awesome job with their vivid depiction of their experiences, thoughts and emotions throughout their lives, they covered it all. Their journey brings you into the world of all stages of CF from everyday maintenance to near death experiences, how it's changed since the 70's, the treatments, the pain and the joy in meeting others in this special CF club. As others have said, this book covers so much more. With a German father and Japanese mother, they take you through life as biracial twins in America and Japan, their travels around the world, and the amazing support they found in family and eachother, then much much later boyfriends. Their story is brutally honest about their experiences, and they've had some tough ones. What I loved most was this honesty and ability to infuse some funny in their situations and not take themselves too seriously. It's refreshing. The narration of their mother was hilarious, even though she's their biggest supporter it seems. My only complaint is I'm jealous they went to CF camp and met Bob Flanagan, the camps were gone by the time I knew they existed.Brilliant girls, thank you!

Having known and loved Ana and Isa for at least 15 years and being a mom of one of their close friends who is an adult with CF I am so grateful to them for writing this book. The raw honesty and intimacy of sharing their lives is unusual. We live with CF in so many hidden ways. It is behind closed doors where much of the struggles occur whether being the disease processes, treatments or personal grieving. Being able to share a true picture of what it is like to deal with CF or any life threatening chronic illness is difficult at best. You know when people ask, how is it? We usually say, "fine". But the story about CF is far more complicated than, "fine". Thank you Ana and Isa for telling your story that is so readable so that I can share it with my family. Perhaps this will give them a glimpse into our lives that is so hard to share in words other than, "fine". May it be read widely and a greater understanding into the lives of those that live with these challenges be better understood.

This may be one of the clearest views into the truth of what life is like with Cystic Fibrosis. Ana and Isa are candid, heartfelt, and funny as they share their struggle together with CF. This is a great book about two incredible and wonderful sisters and I can not recommend it enough!

This is a compelling book. I bought it because my son has struggled with cystic fibrosis and also had a lung transplantand has been in touch via email with Ana and Isa. This book is one that will surprise many people. It will be of value to paramedics and health workers as well as people interested in challenges both health and inter-racial, and the general public. What remarkable people and how honestly they talk about their experiences. There is no glossing over the difficulties but their devotion to each other and their family and their determination to stay positive is very real to the reader.Helen Evans

This story brought me to tears and left me smiling. Isa and Ana are talented storytellers and I would highly recommend this book for anyone - especially those wanting to know more about cf or transplants.

I enjoyed reading about the struggles and triumphs of the Stenzel twins. It's well written, and gives you an idea of what it was like to grow up with CF in the 70s.

I hadn't realized that this book also takes you beyond the commonplace to a calm and pleasing mindset of appreciation. Hausler is able to communicate an aura of bliss both through the written word and her photos.The Fusion of Flora and Art is extremely engaging, and I will purchase additional copies for "go to" gifts.

Ms. Hausler has put together a beautiful work of literature and art. Her book is divided into sections, each expressing a different aspect of her positive views of life accompanied by a set of beautiful ikebana arrangements interpreting those views in the world of flora. Very cleverly done. This book could only have been the creation of someone who has a passion for life and for the natural world that we live in, while understanding the transience of both. The photographs stand on their own merit even without the accompanying text as the works of a master of ikebana and photography. As my wife and I turned page after page we never failed to be stunned by each arrangement, as beautiful and thought provoking as the preceding arrangements yet utterly different and unique. It's my opinion that this book belongs in the collection of every person who loves life and nature and beauty.
