I really tried to like this book, but had to quit at the 17% mark as not many things made sense. The scenes were jumbled and really didn’t connect, which is surprising as I’ve read other books by LaHaye and enjoyed them. This one had a lot of potential based on the description, but the writing just wasn’t very good and this one needs a good editor to help hook the reader much earlier vs. slogging through it. I would give this one a wide pass.

I didn't like the first half of this book at all. It was scattered around so much and too many characters were thrown at you. It took me almost 2 months to get through it. I finally made it past the first half and it got.more interesting. Finished the 2nd half in no time. I'll give the next book a try to see if this series is worth pursuing.

I would reccommend this book to anyone who has given any thought to the place every day news plays in molding even believer's thoughts. We are taught all our lives we can trust our government, but can we? In God Only Çañ we Trust.

I enjoyed the Left Behind series tremendously and know that Tim LaHaye knows the scriptures well. The apocalypse portion of the story was exceptional. I did not enjoy the political jabs at the liberals/progressives though. I don't believe that you can only get to heaven if you are a conservative politically. It shadowed an otherwise well written story.

I purchased The End Series for my adult son. We both enjoyed The Left Behind series which was popular in the 90's, in fact, he had started reading them first and encouraged me to read them as well! We were huge fans, I think we both read the complete series twice. I was looking for something to send him, as he loves to read, and I happened upon these. I was skeptical wondering how they could top Left Behind. My son says these were great! He read all three books in a week and said it was even better than Left Behind! When I jokingly mentioned he should have read slower, he said he couldn't put them down. Maybe he'll let me borrow them so I can see for myself?

AT first, I thought the book was all over the place, but then everything came together in the end and was very fun and dramatic. You need to pay attention and should not read this book while sleepy. Great plot!

I love this book and the whole series. It has an amazingly powerful message and is more of a sneaky book when it comes to its message. The Left Behind Series kind of bashes you over the head repeatedly with the message of redemption and forgiveness. Which is why I love that series too. BUt this one sneaks in to peoples hearts and gets them thinking. I have 2 of this series of books now. One for me and one to pass around to friends and family. They all got pulled in by the suspense and action and ended up having a really good conversation with me about it.
