Merrily Grashin is an illustrator and bartender living in Brooklyn. Her business, Greet'n'Potatoes, produces letter-pressed cards and prints featuring food- and beverage-themed illustrations and groan-worthy jokes. She received her BA from NYU's Gallatin School with a concentration in Community Activism & Political Art Theory. Merrily got her first job bussing tables at 15 and has since worked in restaurants and bars across New York, from Bar Boulud on the Upper West Side to Roberta's Pizza in Bushwick.

The book was a holiday gift for a friend. I have no problem with the book itself it was greatly received by my friend which I also had to apologize for the book's condition. The corner was dinged, I worked for a publishing company and I have seen this happen to many books so I am in the frame of mine that the publisher let it go without pulling it to place for discount sale. I read a few reviews with similar complaints so I am going with an internal issue, that's a shame. I had other gifts for my friend and still I was sorry to present a person who has a great love of books and respect for their care a new book with a flaw, had it been a second hand it is understandable.

Found this at the library and then bought it as a birthday gift with a few mixers for a friend. The book is well written, well illustrated, and filled with clever puns and good cocktail recipes. I am excited to try them.

This book is amazing so so awesome great greatly written. The issue I have is whoever at Amazon or whoever selling this book, I bought this book new and it has a rip in the corner. So be careful if you buy things new rather than used they still will look used. This is a gift to my sister in law and I have to give it to her like this.

Great little book to have on the bar. It must have taken a lot of research to write it. An entertaining read, and very useful recipes too!

Absolutely adorable! All the recipes are based on women's rights activists, strong women leaders, women's health, and more! Each page also gives a little background about the person or event that inspired the cocktail! Absolutely love it!!!

This book is a must own! It's packed with feminist history while at the same time being funny, clever, and useful! We could all use a cocktail after that election that cannot be named. Cheers to creative and fierce women- the ones in this book, and the writer, herself!

Wow! This book is amazing. Thorough, thoughtful, comprehensive and fun are just a few of the words that come to mind. Bought it for the cocktail recipes, amazing illustrations and jokes, stayed for the insight into the history of Women's Lib. Make sure you have a copy for yourself as well as for your friends and family. A great gift for anyone, although I feel like the women in your life probably already know most of this; so while they will no doubt love it, gift it to some dudes!

the cover was dirty and smudged with funk and when I tried to wipe it off it became frayed which sucks because it is a present and the book inside looks super cute.
